Sustainability in Action at Casa di Langa
We are committed to positive and transformative impact. Here are some of the ways we do it at Casa di Langa.

  • REDUCING WASTE

    With a goal of 0% single-use plastics, they have eliminated all plastic bottles, replacing them with glass bottles that are always returned and recycled, and aluminum. Water fountains are found throughout the hotel and at the pool bar. 100% of the rainwater is used for irrigation across the 104 acres / 42 ha estate.

  • SUSTAINABLE ENERGY

    Dedicated to leaving no carbon footprint, solar panels and geothermal pipes heat and cool guestrooms, and a pellet boiler connected to the pipes provide sanitary hot water, helping reduce the need to purchase general energy. All purchased energy comes from green energy production. Company vehicles are fully electric and complimentary charging is available for guests. All ingredients on the menus are sourced locally from small organic growers or grown in the estate gardens.

  • PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

    The expansive estate includes working vineyards and a growing truffle forest. This is a protected area that has been cleaned to protect the trees and encourage natural truffle production.
