100% of the energy used at the property is solar, 100% of food waste is recycled, and 100% of wastewater is re-used for irrigation; those impressive numbers may seem lofty, but they're the benchmark at Islas Secas.

Native plants are grown in an onsite nursery for ongoing island regeneration efforts. The privately funded Islas Secas Foundation partners with national and international conservation organizations and environmental education nonprofits to safeguard the unique and threatened marine and natural resources of Panama. The resort supports community projects and community service organizations.
