Wilderness Safaris DumaTau plays a crucial role in preserving the biodiversity of the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area, which enables the free movement of wildlife between five African countries. In addition to some of the largest herds of elephants on the African continent, guests at DumaTau can also see rare African wild dogs, large lion prides, and roan antelope - considered among the most beautiful antelope species in the world.

The property is 100% solar powered, with electricity and hot water provided by solar panels and inverters.  DumaTau partners with local communities who share proud stories about their heritage with guests, while the camp has been designed and constructed to minimize environmental impact at every turn.
