We are committed to positive and transformative impact. Here are some of the ways we do it at Bentwood Inn.

  • Keeping Jackson Hole Green

    Bentwood Inn lives to be green. For starters, the inn stocks rooms with locally made toiletries in reusable containers, sources organic food from nearby producers, and even uses 100 percent biodegradable and compostable garbage bags.

  • Cutting Carbon Emissions

    Guests can tread lightly thanks to complimentary bikes and a Tesla charging station, while on-site housing helps reduce commuting for Bentwood employees. To further offset its carbon footprint, the inn also pays for wind-power subsidies.

  • Providing Good Reads

    Nearly 200 titles on the region’s natural and cultural heritage line the inn’s library walls. Additional guestbooks focus on local Indigenous culture. Bentwood also points guests to museums on the nearby Wind River Indian Reservation, home to the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes.

  • Supporting Eco Partners

    The inn helped co-found 1% for the Tetons, which provides funding to area conservation projects and supports local and global environmental organizations including the International League of Conservation Photographers. On-property efforts include expanding wildlife corridors by removing obstructive fencing, planting dozens of native trees to attract wildlife, and curating a pollinator garden.

  • Getting Guests Outdoors

    Bentwood connects guests with responsible tour providers and hosts nature-themed photo retreats with the likes of National Geographic photographer Andrew Coleman. Biologists and wildlife researchers, take note: The inn offers complimentary stays for scientists who share information and knowledge with guests about their work.
